Information You Provide To Us.

Amity may collect Personal Information from you that you voluntarily provide to us in various ways, including when you contact us through email or our online contact form, respond to a survey, meet with us in person, communicate with us by phone, video calls, social media or other electronic means or when you otherwise interact with Amity or our website. The following explains the categories of Personal Information we collect from you and how we collect such data.

  • Online Forms: When you complete an online form, survey or other electronic means, we collect Identifiers and Contact Information.
  • Communications with Amity: When you contact Amity by telephone, e-mail, sign up for industry newsletters/publications/press releases or have an in person interaction or an interview with Amity, we collect Identifiers and any other Personal Information you choose to provide, as explained below.
    • Telephone: When you contact Amity by telephone, we will collect the Contact Information (telephone number) that you use to call Amity.  During a call, Amity may additionally collect Contact Information (e.g., name, address, e-mail address) and any other information you provide. If you are a candidate, we may also collect Professional Information.
    • E-mail and Electronic Means: When you communicate with Amity via e-mail, our website, respond to our surveys, participate in a personality profile, engage in video calls, social media (LinkedIn), or other electronic means, we may collect your Contact Information (e.g., e-mail address, name), and any other Personal Information you voluntarily choose to include in the communication so that we can respond to your questions and provide you with services.
    • In Person: When we meet you at a trade show, conference, partnerships (organizations, business schools, undergraduate clubs, etc.), have an interview or otherwise interact with you in person, we may collect your Contact Information (e.g., e-mail address, name), and any other Personal Information you voluntarily choose to include in the communication.
  • Social Media: You may choose to interact with Amity via social media platforms on which Amity is active. Relating to these interactions, Amity may collect Identifiers and any information that you choose to provide such as posts, comments or feedback that you post or leave on pages, feeds or inboxes belonging to Amity. There are areas of social media platforms that are visible to other users or the general public. We recommend that you do not post personal details to social media.   • Business Contacts: Amity collects the Professional Information you provide to allow us to contact you or to receive information about us, opportunities with us, or our services.

Online Account: If you sign up or use an Amity account, we collect Personal Information you provide to create a profile, account, or to receive information about our services.  This may include your Contact, Financial, and Profile Information.

Information We Collect Automatically.

Automated technologies or interactions. As is true of most websites, we receive and store certain types of Personal Information whenever you interact with us or our website. This information may include Technical Information and Usage Information. When you access and use our Website from your mobile devices, we may receive Technical Information from that mobile device. Other Third Parties. We collect Personal Information from content aggregators and organizations such as LinkedIn, universities, diversity organizations, training/mentorship/student groups, and similar groups.

Your ‘Do Not Track’ Browser Setting. Some web browsers incorporate a Do Not Track (“DNT”) feature that signals to the websites that you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. At this time, our Website does not respond to DNT signals. Other third-party websites may keep track of your browsing activities when they provide you with content, which enables them to customize what they present to you on their websites.

Children’s Privacy. Our Website is intended for adult use only and is not directed towards children, minors, or anyone under the age of 18.
